Are you a newbie or an experienced NFT trader? Well, these are the top five tools you would need to have successful trading or NFT collection experience. The tools are on the five major aspect which includes; social media, marketplace, analytics, rarity, and minting dates.

MarketPlace

For buying and selling to happen there needs to be a place for exchange A.K.A marketplace. There are various marketplaces for NFTs purchase. Some you probably heard off, most you haven’t. The marketplace you would use also depends greatly on the blockchain you plan to trade on. There are various blockchains ( Ethereum, Solana) e.t.c The most common blockchains for NFT at the moment are the two mentioned earlier so some of the common marketplaces include Opensea, rariable, Magic Eden, foundation, and super rare.

Magic Eden focuses mainly on Solana projects and Opeansea focuses mainly on Ethereum projects but recently has added Solana NFTs to the mix.

Analytics

Analytics in NFT is still a developing area with different startups trying to tackle different problems. I can probably write a whole article about analytics but I would give you a quick summary of the tools you need to start your NFT career.

NFTgo.io: This allows you to spot NFT alpha by ranking, rarity, whale tracking, and learn about new NFT drops.

You get up-to-date analytics on new collections, top mints, top sales, market sentiment, number of traders, market cap, top collections, and bots.

Ayzd.com: Ayzd helps you learn about the NFT and Metaverse drops. Biggest NFT project database, a live news feed, top collections, powerful analytics, statistics & more.

Ayzd’s most unique offering point is its Metaverse projects feed where you can get up to date information and analytics about ongoing and upcoming metaverse projects

Another important tool or information you would need when minting NFT is the current gas price.

Ethereum Gas fees

Gas prices for the Solana network are almost insignificant but Ethereum gas fees are what you have to worry about.

Using etherscan.io you can track the current gas fees which you would have to pay when minting or listing an NFT

Rarity

What is Rarity? Do you know how each collection you plan to buy always happens to have 10,000 collections or how one NFT in a collection goes for a higher price than the other? That is rarity

Rare NFTs are most highly sought after by the collectors and it depends on various features in that NFT project.

Now you have bought your NFT. How do you check how rare your NFT is?

There are two major tools I would advise you to use.

Rarity.tools

rarity.tools is a website dedicated to ranking generative art and collectible NFTs by rarity. It is very common, useful, and correctly ranks your NFT based on its rarity in a collection.

Trait sniper extension

I use the trait sniper extension on google chrome for ease of use. Install once and once you are on any marketplace, for example, opensea you can see the rarity of the NFT without having to go through a list or entering any information on a website.

A handy tool for making quick decisions sometimes

Minting Dates

With the array of projects coming out every day. How do you know what is minting on a given date? The trick is using the NFT calendar tools to keep track.

We often post minting dates that contain mint prices, supply, social media channels, and other useful information. So make sure to keep an eye out for when we post something like that.

NFT Solana

NFT SOLANA Calendar keeps you updated with the most promising NFTs projects released on Solana. You get information such as minting price, supply, social media channels, websites, and sometimes market sentiments.

NFTevening:

You can get information about upcoming nft drops and events

There are various Twitter accounts that post various NFT calendars usually the day before. Find one that suits you and stay updated.

Also with the NFT calendar dates, always remember that you need to do your own research since most times, the calendar is just a calendar and not a list of projects that would succeed. In all honesty, nobody knows. So stay safe, enjoy the journey, and welcome to the interesting world of NFTs

Social Media

There are a lot of social media networks with different ones appealing to different customers.

In the NFT space, there are two major social media networks you would need, discord and Twitter.

If you are already reading this, there is a high chance that you are already on Twitter.

Now the next important stuff you need to know is how to use Twitter and Discord effectively to your advantage.

Especially for Twitter, if you can properly maximize lists and the advanced search, you would have an edge over a lot of other NFT traders.

There are a lot of accounts that drop alpha updates and give opinions about projects. Also, the majority of the projects use Twitter and Discord as a source of marketing, information, and community building.

Sometimes, a project’s presence could be an indicator of how successful the project might be.

Opening a Twitter and discord is literally free so open one now and get into the mix.
